Grievances of children studying in private Schools

Subject:  Grievances of children studying in private Schools relating to serious violations of their Right to Education
Respected Sir,
I/We would like to bring to your kind notice about the mismanagement in one of the elite schools of Delhi, with respect to Nursery Admission. I was duped by xxxxxxx School, S-BLOCK, MANGOL PURI, NEW DELHI. It is a fraud as the school has played with our emotions. There prospectus is full of lies, this school is cheating with people in the name of education. The Building is a hazard for the safety of all school children.
1.      Discrimination on grounds of Minority/Religion: The school claims that it’s a minority school and hence they give preference to special community children. They had reserved 25% seats for special community Category children.
2.      Age Criteria: As per Govt. Norms, eligible age for Nursery admission is 3 years but Xxxxx School has always followed a special separate criteria. They have revised the criteria as per Govt. Norms and sold the forms accordingly. So parents also submitted the forms for admission. Later School had conducted a draw in front of parents for general category and had put up the list on notice board along with list for special community Category selected students (No Draws for special community category). But strangely all students who got selected were special community. Point is if they had followed their own eligibility criteria then why they collected forms as per Govt. Norms – which was an eye wash.
Point 1: Why can't they follow Govt. Norms w.r.t eligibility criteria.
Point 2: If they don’t want to follow norms then why are they lying to applicants and selling forms saying that they are following Govt. Norms whereas they were removing the forms from backend. Was it to make money on sale of forms? Or Are they to avoid the scrutiny by the Govt. officials?
1.      No proper sanitary facilities: My daughter is studying in this school. There are no proper sanitary facilities. Toilet is there but they are not cleaning frequently. So many girl students getting urinary infection. The school must ensure the sanitary facilities of all children with immediate effect.
2.      Lack of essential facilities like fans, furniture, doors, clean bathrooms etc.
3.Student teacher ratio – The private school violate the prescribed student-pupil ratio of 30:1 and hence the teachers don’t give all her students individual attention.
4.In - operational computers - School has computers but they don’t work and school does not have teachers for teaching computer to students.
We, therefore, most humbly request you, Sir, to kindly initiate appropriate proceedings against private School to redress the just, legal and bonafide grievances of the students of the school relating to serious violations of their right to education.
Thanking you.
Yours Sincerely,
